About Dorothy

Old lady Dorothy! This beautiful girl is our newest addition as well as her sister, Lady whom she has lived with for her entire life and is best friends with at no fault of their own. Dorothy's momma unfortunately was diagnosed with dementia and passed away recently, so both girls are in search of a new loving home to spend their days at! If possible we would like to keep Dorothy and Lady together as they have been together for their entire lives and are quite the bonded pair. Dorothy is 5 and a half years old, but has such an old soul she is so laid back and just likes to be sat on the couch with you watching a good show or reading a good book. Dorothy is very well behaved, she is house broken and kennel trained, she gets along beautifully with other animals, dogs and cats, and she does love children. This little old lady loves to snuggle, she is so sweet and just wants to hangout with you all day. Dorothy is a beautiful tan color, she is quite fluffy and does have long hair naturally! She received a 'at home' haircut before coming to us but with time it will grow back out to her natural beautiful state. Dorothy is very clean and mannerly, she definitely keeps her older sister Lady following the straight line! Dorothy would make a wonderful addition to any family or single home as long as they are ready for lots of snuggles and cuddle time! Dorothy would do best in a home with at least one other animal if not her sister, she has been kept with smaller dogs and doesn't fancy being by herself. This sweet girl would absolutely love to show you how wonderful her and her sister are, and she would be ecstatic to find a home before the cold snow rolls into town! We hope to see you soon!
