About Sadie

I am looking for a home for My dad's dog Sadie. She is a 4 year old German Shepherd. She has been raised by him her whole life but he passed away August 31,2025. She was in the house with him for 5 days before he was found. So she's had a rough month or so. I had her shipped from Arizona to here. I already own a small dog and 2 cats. I had a trainer come to the house to try and help familiarize the dogs with each other. Unfortunately after 3 1/2 weeks my dog will not move as he is terrified of her. She is not aggressive toward him. He is more aggressive towards her. I really wanted to keep her because she belonged to my dad. I just don't think I'm a German shepherd owner. I've never had a big dog and it's overwhelming. Sadie is spayed and up to date on all shots. She is not food motivated at all. She loves all people and kids. I'm hoping you could help me find someone who is familiar with German Shepherds and their needs. I think she would another large sibling. She's fascinated by the world because my dad was a recluse with her.. She is 60 pounds. I want to what's best for her. I don't think it's me and my family of pets and a 4 year old. Thank you
