About Piper

Meet Piper! ��%BD��%BD%90%BE She's a roughly 5-year-old, 30 lb, rottie-patterned mutt with a huge heart and a love for the outdoors. Piper grew up as a farm dog and truly thrived there - one of her favorite jobs was hunting down rodents on the 17-acre property she helped protect. Since moving to an apartment, she misses having room to run and can get a bit anxious without the space she's used to. She would be happiest with a yard or land where she can stretch her legs and feel like she has a job again. She is good with cats and with dogs she knows. Piper still plays like a puppy and sometimes forgets her size, so she'd do best in a home without elderly or fragile dogs who might not love her bouncy style. She can be a little protective of her food around other animals, but never with people. Piper is smart and well-trained - she knows sit, stay, shake, roll, down, out, in, eat, and drop.
