About Hayden

Hayden was left behind when her previous owner's moved out of state. Left in the yard of her empty home, neighbors eventually noticed her and took her in as a foster. The organization that once fostered her has recommended she be placed in a shelter due to lack of interest from potential adopters over an extended period of time. Hayden is truly a very funny girl, highly energetic and a bit of a wild child. She does well at daycare and was kept with other dogs in foster home until her best dog friend died of cancer and the other foster became aggressive towards Hayden. Hayden can easily overwhelm dogs who aren't as playful as she is. She is not aggressive towards humans, but she rough houses and may be too rough for a home with young children. She's the kind of dog who empties out her toy box so that she can sleep on it instead of on the bed beside the toy box.
