Sage came to our animal clinic from an animal control organization a year ago. When she was a puppy, we had treated her for burn marks down her back. We treated the wounds, but she now has permanent scarring and hair loss in a line down her back. We do not know if it was a chemical burn, or a water scalding burn. When the animal control needed space in the shelter, we offered to save Sage from euthanasia and foster her until we could find her forever home. Sage is a very sweet dog. She is now 2 and a half years old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and does not resource guard. She is about 50 pounds. She is intelligent, goofy, aloof, and loves curling up on the couch on a blanket. She does well with other dogs, but she is energetic. The foster did not have any cats in the household. We are located in the Farmers Branch, TX area. Please contact if you are interested!
