There's a sweet little dog with a heartbreaking story waiting for a forever family. Meet Wooju - Our Brave Little Survivor. Hi friends! I'm currently fostering Wooju here in New Jersey, and I'm helping him find his forever home. This tiny 7.3 lb Maltese has been through so much. He was born in a small town in Korea, spent his early years as a breeding dog, and later ended up at a grooming school where he was used for practice and suffered repeated abuse. Thankfully, a kind student reported him, and Wooju was rescued by an animal welfare group. After receiving love and care, he made his way to the U.S. - and now he's safe, happy, and healing beautifully with me. Despite everything, Wooju is sweet, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. He LOVES people, and has no known issues with kids. He's pee pad trained and also does well with outdoor potty breaks. He hasn't met cats yet, but his calm, kind nature suggests he'll adjust well with a gentle introduction. Wooju may be small, but his Love is HUGE. After years of neglect, he's finally ready to be loved - not for what he can offer, but simply for who he is.
