About Ziggy

Hi my name is Ziggy! I am 126 pound four year-old Merle great dane. I am a huge snuggler! I love taking car rides and running errands with my foster. I am crate, trained, easily trainable since I love food. Prior to being rescued poor Ziggy doeent seem like he got to go on walks. He walks ok on leash with a prong but is fearful and reactive when he sees another dog. Off leash after 4 days of slow introductions and using a crate he's been dog friendly with other large dogs and just lays next to them. Its just on the walks he needs help learning he's safe/and or to trust the packleader will take care of everything. I take him to work and I just lay on a dog bed until I am done. He loves hanging his head of of a car window with his ears flapping but does need a doggy seatbelt. He meets my clients and is a friendly happy go lucky boy with a good temperament. He is spooked by kids and that seems like new territory for him too. He will put myself to bed and play with his toys, so he's a pretty low maintenance dog to have around. With potty training he will bark or cry if he has to go. He will constantly ask you for pets and affection and keep giving you his paw.
