URGENT!!! Current Shepherd Parent is in a Hospice Care Facility and being fostered by a friend. GRAFTON, OHIO. (willing to drive up to TBD ). 7 Y/O FEMALE GSD (DOB: 4/18/18). Her name is ' RILEY'. Background: has been with the same Shepherd Parent since weaned . UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. Good with dogs. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained. Crate trained, But does not need, has good behavior when left out and alone. Any known medical issues?:NO . ENERGY LEVEL:AVERAGE . PREY DRIVE LEVEL:MEDIUM . Weighs 82 lbs. Currently on Purina One Chicken food. Good with car rides?: YES. Socialized with: *other dogs: A LITTLE *people?:YES . Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): YED. Loves: playing fetch - raw broccoli - Agility Courses - cuddling - going on walks - chilling on the couch - playing with other dogs - balls - being near her Person . *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: YES. *Good Recall? Re Homing because�'�|: This is a very heartbreaking situation. Riley's Person is now in a Hospice Care Facility and has a friend keeping Riley for her until Riley finds her Furever Home. Riley has had a very good life before her person was diagnosed with cancer and had to go to the Facility. Riley has been very loved and very spoiled and hoping to get her into another great home that will continue to give her the best love possible. Not sure how long the friend is able to foster her, so Riley needs her Furever Home ASAP. Riley will be an amazing companion for the right person. I'm sure she is going to need time to grieve the only person that she has ever known, but she is doing well with the Foster, so it sounds like she may adjust quicker than expected.
