Woof! My name is Sheriff, and I'm a 5-year-old, 12-pound ShihPoo boy looking for my forever home! I may have started out as a stray, but a kind human saved me and now I'm ready to steal your heart. I'm the perfect little gentleman with excellent house manners-I'm totally house-broken, I don't get into mischief, and I have free range of my foster home when my people are out. I absolutely love cuddling on the couch (I'll politely ask to be picked up with my sweetest eyes), and if you're watching TV, you'll find me in your lap or snuggled right beside you. I do this adorable paw-begging thing that my foster mom says is irresistible, especially when dinner is ready! I get along with calm adult and senior dogs my size or bigger, but I'm not a fan of puppies and sometimes I don't like to share my human's lap. I wouldn't mind being an only dog but can be happy living with some dogs�'�|we just need to meet first. I'm wonderful with all people including kids, and I'm a superstar on the leash and in the car. My tail is basically wagging 24/7 because I'm just SO happy! At night, I'm content sleeping on my bed beside yours like the good boy I am. During the day, you might catch me chasing rabbits or hunting for lizards in the yard-I've got a little adventure spirit! I love shaking my toys with pure joy, and according to my foster mom, I have the cutest swishy prance walk you've ever seen (think Corgi vibes).
