River is a great dog who is wonderful with other dogs and is friendly with new people and old friends. She is very affectionate and likes to play fetch with a tennis ball and play with other dogs. She is a good companion for running and Nordic skiing. She will 'talk' to you after you've come home. She does, however, like to chase loose chickens.
