Here's a bit of an insight into my background and personality: Hi, I'm Hercules - but don't let the name fool you, I'm more of a gentle hero-in-training than a musclebound mythological warrior. I'm a 1-year-old black Lab with a soft heart, a curious spirit, and a quiet side that's still learning to be brave in the big, wide world. I was a little unsure when first leashed and leaving my kennel, but once I'm outside, I walk like a champ and enjoy calm, gentle attention. I'm not a rough-and-tumble guy just yet - more of a quiet companion who prefers soft voices, patient people, and peaceful places to build my confidence. I like toys and chews, but I'm more into bonding than battling.
