��%BD��%BD%90%BE Meet Trixie! ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Hi there! I've been in foster care since October 18, 2025, and I'm ready to find my furever home! Trixie is available for adoption now and can't wait to meet her new family. Trixie isn't a trickster-she's an old soul with a sweet and wise personality. She's a mixed breed, likely part German Shepherd and/or Australian Shepherd, and shows some classic herding instincts. She would thrive with someone who understands herding breeds and their unique energy, intelligence, and need for activity. Trixie is agile and can jump quite high. We love her graceful prance when she walks and her adorable habit of sitting with her front paws in funny positions-she's full of personality and will definitely make you laugh! With her webbed paws, she may even enjoy swimming or water activities. She's cautious but brave, and her beautiful spirit shines wherever she goes. Out on walks, people often stop to comment on how adorable she is-and it's easy to see why! She has beautiful coloring, soft fur with little tufts on her ears, and a bushy long tail that bobs as she walks. We have a feeling she won't stay in foster care for long-she's truly a super cool dog. Trixie is currently learning good leash manners and improving every day. She learned the command 'sit' in just a few days-without treats! She's eager to please, smart, and quick to learn, and her foster family continues to build on her training. When meeting new people, Trixie prefers to observe first before showing affection. She's never aggressive-just thoughtful and careful. Once she trusts you, she's loyal, loving, and affectionate. She enjoys spending time outside and has become protective of her foster home's yard. With her deep bark and petite frame, she'd make an excellent indoor/outdoor dog and a wonderful guardian companion. Trixie does show mild separation anxiety, but it's manageable and improving with time and consistency. She is also undergoing treatment for heartworms, but she's available for adoption immediately and can continue treatment with her new family. Trixie truly is the total package-smart, loyal, affectionate, and full of charm. She loves walks, adventures, car rides, belly rubs, and cuddle time.
