About Jax

Jax's story is a sad one. Her original human parents passed away. She lived on a farm with horses for the first 10 months of her life. We (her foster family) stepped in to provide some stability and help to find her a forever home. She is a year old blue heeler mix. She's very loving, smart, and one busy girl! She's fully pet door and potty trained, spayed, and heart worm negative. She would thrive in a home with land she can run on and help you with all the jobs, but is currently staying in the city with a big yard + daily walks and is doing well. She does great in the car, and loves to 'go'. She's one of the most intelligent dogs I've spent time with. I'm confident there isn't anything she couldn't learn with training! We do not have small kids, but she's super friendly to every human we meet on walks, big or small. She loves to play ball but she most adores playing with other dogs. She's currently successfully living with a medium sized blue heeler and a 10 lb shitzu. We also have a cat that we are slowly introducing her to, but we have not fully integrated them yet.
