About Doof

Doofenschmirtz came with his name from the shelter, and truly acts like a Doof! He enjoys laying near people and staying close to his family. He has fun with stuffed animal toys. He has a lot of energy in bursts, but will often lounge during the day. He does well with kids and knows 'place.' He will use you as a pillow and loves to run in his dreams. He would do best in a house with some big dog friends, and probably not with cats or other small fluffy animals. He is a 'chowhound' as they say, but is in great health and is fully vaccinated. He has done well in boarding locations with other dogs and would love a friend to run around with! He is a graduate of a two-week board and train program. We've had him a year, but with a recent job change, we can no longer stay home with him and he is spending a lot of time inside. We also have a family member that was recently bit by a dog (not Doof), and for mental health reasons think it's time to not have a dog in the house. Hopefully someone can give him a loving home where he can run around with some friends!
