About Sugar

I'm a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog-mix. I love to run, go on walks and hikes. I like water. I'm more used to women so better to go to a home with a woman. My sometimes dog walker is a man and I do fine/well with him. I just haven't lived with a man. I've always lived with cats. I think I'm the boss of all food so if you have a cat, please feed me separately or tell me 'mat' or I'll steal their food. I'm also a good companion for jogs. I love to explore Nature. Chickens: I'm fine with chickens because I like telling the chickens where to go and when. I am better in a home without little kids because I get startled if they jump on me when I'm sleeping, and when I'm exploring and busy I tell people when I don't want to be interrupted and kids forget to ask me for permission to interrupt me. I love to snuggle on the couch or rug for movies. I am not a city dog: I don't like cars, bikes and loud noises close to me. I love to do tricks and to learn and to play and run and walk. Our circumstances changed: we no longer have a fenced in yard, and now rent an apartment.
