About Tommy Tommy is a handsome, three-year-old, grey and white, neutered male cat. He came into our lives approximately three months ago after being found abandoned. Temperament: He is a very affectionate, playful, and curious cat who loves chin scratches and is not afraid to explore. Health & Status: Vaccinations: Up to date (veterinary documents can be provided). Litterbox Trained: Yes. Known Medical Issues: None that we are aware of. Microchipped: No. Context and Behavioral Needs Upon finding Tommy, his health was initially declining, and he was briefly managed by Hunter Animal Control before being returned to us. We have made significant efforts to integrate him into our home, but two primary behavioral challenges have unfortunately made it impossible for us to continue providing the stable environment he deserves: Play: Tommy has a tendency to 'hunt' feet, which involves biting during play. While he has not broken the skin or bitten aggressively for over three months, our current home environment puts him and us at risk. My wife is disabled and unable to move quickly, making her particularly vulnerable to injury. Separation Anxiety: Tommy exhibits attachment to people and cries loudly and continuously when left alone, even for brief periods. He would thrive in a home where his owners are often present. Given his energy and need for consistent interaction, we feel strongly that a different environment would be more beneficial for his long-term happiness. We are seeking a reputable organization like yours to facilitate his transition.
