Meet Yeti !! Yes he's ridiculously adorable, but you need to read the post to make sure he's the right puppy for you first. Good looks are only a small part of picking your new dog. Yeti is a 4 month old male puppy. He weighs 27 pounds currently. He has a lot of things mixed in to include Poodle, Boxer and Shar Pei. He is likely going to be a larger dog full grown. Best guess 60-70 pounds. He will be vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and neutered as part of his adoption. He came to us with a small skin infection on his foot and ear infections. Those are being treated and healing well. This guys looks sure fit his name. He is the softest, scruffiest, and most adorable puppy. He is very loving and likes everyone he meets. He is a bit of a wild child at times but very cuddly when he gets tired. Yeti loves to play with other dogs. He is shy at first but once he gets to know them he is wide open. He can try to be a bit dominate once he is comfortable but takes cues to back down well. We have not seen him around cats so we are not sure how he would do. He was raised in a home with multiple kids under the age of 10 and did really well. As he gets older and larger he may accidentally knock over tiny ones in the home. He is doing really well with potty training. He sleeps through the night in his crate and doesn't have potty accidents in there. When taken out on a regular and frequent schedule he does not have any accidents at all. He is doing really well with crate training. He does okay on car rides. He doesn't get sick but can get anxious at times. He is not fully leash trained. He still needs some work with pulling when excited. He is still very young and will need lots of work on all of his training as he grows. Yeti has a medium to high energy level. He will need lots of exercise along with mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy and well behaved. Tons of exercise and lots of training will help him be his best self. He loves to play and be outside. He really likes toys and balls. He can be very excitable at times and needs that outlet for his playful puppy side. Both poodles and boxers tend to keep a fairly high energy level lifelong so please don't adopt unless you are wanting an active dog. He has not had any trouble sharing, food, treats, or toys with other dogs or people. If you are looking for a fun, active and unique pup then he may be the one. As long as you are a family dedicated to proper exercise and consistency in training this little guy will turn out wonderful. Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA.
