LOCATION: Iowa Park, TX DOB: 06/12/2018 Meet Annie, a gorgeous Great Dane with the sweetest personality and the biggest heart! Annie is a true velcro dog-she wants to be by your side all day, every day. Whether you're working at your desk, relaxing on the couch, or even heading to the bathroom, you can count on her to follow along, happy just to be near her favorite person. She's incredibly affectionate and forms deep bonds with the people she loves, especially the one who spends the most time with her. Annie gets along beautifully with everyone she meets-dogs, cats, and kids alike. She shares her home with several dogs and cats and does wonderfully with them all. She's respectful, playful, and especially gentle with her foster's four-year-old granddaughter, greeting her every day with happy tail wags and patience. She even tries to play gently with the family kitten! This sweet girl is completely house-trained, uses the doggy door, rides great in the car, and has lovely manners when taking treats. Annie enjoys running around the backyard, sometimes getting the zoomies just for fun-it's pure joy watching her big, goofy leaps as she celebrates life. She also loves tossing her toys in the air and catching them, or pressing her forehead gently against yours in the sweetest little show of affection. Annie does fine on leash but can get a little nosy if she spots another animal-she just wants to check them out. She's sensitive to loud noises, so a calm voice and steady routine help her feel safe. The only mischief she's known for is sneaking a snack off the counter if it's left unattended-her foster is working on that 'no counter surfing' rule! Her ideal home would be with someone who's home often-perhaps retired or working from home-and ideally with another friendly dog for companionship. She's happiest when she's with her people and doesn't like to be left alone for long. A big fenced yard would make her day, giving her space to stretch her legs and play. Annie is the perfect match for someone who wants a loyal, affectionate companion who will adore you endlessly and make every day a little brighter.
