Ericka is the purrfect 11-week-old black female kitten looking for a loving guardian. This magnificent, playful, sweet, and friendly kitten was found crying in some bushes on November 2nd struggling to breathe and survive on the south side of Chicago. Obviously, she was tossed out by some heartless human because she was already perfectly socialized. She was rushed to the vet and treated with three different antibiotics and two different eye meds over the course of a month. Shockingly (to me), she recovered without a trace of illness. We are thankful for our fosters Mandy and her daughter Eden, veterinarians, transporters and donors who have made this lifesaving rescue possible. Ericka will thrive in a home with another playful young cat. If you don't have one, we have other kittens available to pair her with. She is well-behaved in the home, uses her litter box perfectly, rides her foster mom's shoulder and just LOVES to play. Ericka is now very healthy, spayed, de-wormed, treated with revolution, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, virus-tested negative and microchipped. To meet and possibly adopt Ericka, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is being fostered in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.
