About Everest

Transport help may be available. * 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix * weighs 67 pounds * not neutered yet but he will be * heartworm test not completed yet * came in as a stray - he was wearing a blue sweater * did well with a puppy - per temp foster * greets you with tail wags - he loves to see visitors and he's ready to be friends * good leash manners * took treats gently * attentive and listens well * super sweet and loving * calm and well behaved - he knows when it's time to play and when to be calm * he is a big fan of toys, especially tennis balls * knows basic commands: sit, stay, shake, lay * happy, friendly, playful, fun, social, and affectionate * he's smart and quick to learn new things A NOTE FROM EVEREST TEMPORARY FOSTER: This is our foster Everest, he is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. He is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and is 70 pounds of pure love. He gets along good with our puppy Koe (even when he's being a little bit too much), would probably do best with a calmer pup. He's great with people and is super calm, but when he's ready to play, you'll know. Everest LOVES his Tractor Supply tennis balls. He is more toy motivated than treat motivated but is an amazing listener and knows exactly what to do when you say a command. Everest hasn't had an accident in the house, he isn't neutered yet so he has marked his territory a few times but nothing that can't be fixed with a little bit of time, Everest knows how to sit, stay, shake, lay down and we are working with him on a few more commands. Everest is a big cuddle bug, as you can see in the pictures and doesn't realize how big he really is. He would make a great family dog and will show you nothing but love and loyalty Everest is looking forward to having a forever family to share his life and his love with.
