About Dexter

Dexter is looking for a new home. Unfortunately, two of my three children have developed a dog allergy. He is a very loving dog. He is truly the best cuddler. He loves to be pet. He's just the cutest! He weighs around 25 pounds. He is a beagle mix. The cons: he is not good with other dogs. He is bad on a leash. He will run away (but always come back eventually) if he has the opportunity. He is anxious. We have him on anxiety meds. He will need someone who really loves dogs and wants to help him have his best life. He will take a while to adjust to a new home. He's more of a country dog, than a city dog. I think he would bark a lot if he lives in a place where he can see a lot of people and animals walking by.
