About Pua

We adopted 10 year old Pua in April of 2024, and she has been such a sweet and quirky girl. After much thought, we've decided that Pua would be happiest in a home with someone who has more experience with the bulldog breed. Pua has one unique trait that's important to understand: she cannot be touched or moved while she's asleep. She spends a lot of her time napping, and if startled awake, she may react aggressively. For this reason, we believe she'd do best with someone who can respect her boundaries and understands bulldog behavior. When awake, Pua is affectionate, funny, and absolutely loves treats and feeding time, she just needs a calm, understanding environment where she can feel safe and comfortable.
