About Buzzie

Notes from Buzzie's foster mom: What can I tell you about Buzzie except that I adore her? She is beautiful and brilliant. She is deaf, so her adopters will need to learn some signs and be willing to continue teaching her. But training with her has been just as easy as training with a hearing dog. You just do it a little differently. Added bonus: she is not affected by fireworks, thunder or vacuums! Buzzie is only 8 months old, 40 lbs, housetrained and good with kids, dogs and cats. She hasn't had an accident at all in the week I've had her. She does come to the office with me, so she has only been left home alone for about 30 minutes so far. She does have a bit of separation anxiety when being left alone, so we are working on that. Having a well-balanced dog sibling to keep her company would help. Plus, she would love to have a playmate! She is great on a leash, rarely ever pulls. She doesn't seem to be a high energy dog, but she does relish her zoomie sessions out in the yard a couple times per day. Because of this, she will need to have a fenced yard. Buzzie is truly a special gem of a girl.
