Background: Current Shepherd Foster has had Buddy for 1 month, rescued him as an abandoned stray. Protocol was followed . UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs, acts weird and is hesitant with large dogs and takes a while to warm up but good with small. Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?: HEARTWORM POSITIVE and is doing the 'slow kill' method so is on Doxycycline for 30 days and then Advantage Monthly for 1 year. The Current Shepherd Foster will provide one year worth of medication for the Heartworm Treatment. ENERGY LEVEL: AVERAGE. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: HIGH. Weighs 80 lbs. Currently on INUKSHUK MARINE 16 food. He did come back Heartworm Positive and is paying for that treatment as well. Buddy is an amazing boy and will make a great companion for the right person. Buddy does have signs of physical abuse so he does have a possible Abuse History. Buddy is afraid of brooms. The Current Shepherd Foster stepped up for this amazing boy but is unable to keep him permanently, and will be moving soon with the military so Buddy needs to find his Furever Home ASAP.
