Sandy. 6-month-old female Great Dane puppy. UTD on age-appropriate vet care, vaccines & preventatives. Loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them so she is seeking a home with atleast one other canine companion. Good with dog-savvy cats. Kids 8+ yrs old. Will need continued work on manners & basic obedience. All dogs in household MUST be spayed/neutered. Due to disturbance concerns, LFAR does not place puppies in apartments, townhomes, or homes with shared walls. Physically fenced yard REQUIRED. Located near Atlanta, GA. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up. No exceptions to the above requirements will be considered Sandy is a stunning 6-month-old fawn merle Great Dane with a heart as big as her paws. She's an incredibly sweet and gentle soul who quickly learned the rules of her foster home-this smart girl caught on fast! She loves to romp and play with other dogs, explore the yard, and occasionally bring in a leaf or two to shred for fun. While Sandy can be a little shy with new people, she warms up beautifully with slow, proper introductions. Once she trusts you, she will greet you with her tail wagging and a big 'smile' every time you walk in the door. She's a total couch-lover and will happily curl up next to you after a good play session. Sandy's foster mom says she's been a joy to have in the home-friendly with the resident dogs, respectful of boundaries, and eager to learn. She's still just a young puppy, so she'll need continued guidance on her training journey, but she's already showing how quickly she can adapt and thrive. Sandy is UTD on age-appropriate vet care, vaccines, and preventatives, and she's microchipped. She is currently in a foster home in the Atlanta, GA area. We adopt NATIONWIDE, but adopters must be willing to travel to her foster home with their current dog(s) for a meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit.
