Sailor. 6-month-old male Great Dane puppy. UTD on age-appropriate vet care, vaccines & preventatives. Loves other dogs and enjoys playing and snuggling with them so he is seeking a home with atleast one other canine companion. Good with dog-savvy cats. Kids 8+ yrs old Housebroken & crate trained; prefers other dogs near when he is crated. All dogs in household MUST be spayed/neutered. Due to disturbance concerns, LFAR does not place puppies in apartments, townhomes, or homes with shared walls. Physically fenced yard REQUIRED. Giant breed experience REQUIRED. Location Winchester VA. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up. I am your typical Sailor��%BD'��%BD| I am very handsome, with striking blue eyes and smoldering smoke fur. The white on my chest looks like I have a suave suit on. I love the ladies but I don't mind hanging out with the men. I am shy about most things and it will take a patient family to give me the time to decompress and learn the world isn't a scary place. My foster mom has been working on my confidence and leash walking and am making great strides. I have mastered crate training, and playing with my foster pups. I love to run and play and am a big goofball. I am very submissive when I am playing with the Danes, they are so big but they make great snuggle buddies! I am in love with the itty bitty pitty in the home. I let the resident cats rub up on me and sleep by me. I've been introduced to small children and so far I am very patient with them.
