About Festus

Meet Festus he may *look* like a GSP, but this handsome boy is really a 4yo couch potato! Festus' sister recently found her forever home, and now he's hoping it's his turn. My mom has had him his entire life, but due to her ongoing health challenges, we're looking for a loving new home for him. About Festus: This handsome guy is a true lover boy - and wants nothing more than to be beside you. He's not your 'run-a-marathon' kind of GSP - Festus is happiest lounging at home with his people. But he'd def still be down for the occasional walk. He's a gentleman for nail trims and baths, incredibly smart (with the occasional dumb moment), and always eager to please. Challenges: Festus does have some separation anxiety that can cause him to pee in his kennel. He's currently on anti-anxiety medication, and before boarding, he was showing great improvement when combining meds with structure, mental stimulation, and consistency.
