About Ruby June

Ruby was born in late August to a pure breed Anatolian Shepherd and rumor has it her dad was an Australian Shepherd. I brought Ruby June home last December - but in Anatolian Shepherd fashion, she has decided recently that she's not a fan of my other female rescue who has been with me for three years or cats. We've tried multiple solutions without much success so unfortunately Ruby June needs a new home now. Ruby is a very smart girl. She's been sprayed, UTD on shots, house broken, crate trained and knows a few basic commands. She doesn't appreciate being tied up so she's also been trained on a remote training collar so she can roam as she pleases. Ruby expresses all the behaviors of a typical Anatolian - she's protective of her people, her toys and her house. She wasn't socialized with people before I brought her home, so her people socialization is behind - but I continue to work on that with her. If you are interested in meeting Ruby, I am willing to travel to ensure she has a good home & I am offering a trial period. If in that trial period you discover she is not a good fit, I will bring her back. Afterall, this isn't Ruby's fault, so taking her to the shelter is an absolutely last resort.
