About Tilly

Female | Spayed | Ear-tipped | Approx. 4 years old Tilly's journey is a beautiful example of how patience and compassion can transform even the most frightened hearts. Once a completely feral mom living under a deck, Tilly was rescued during a rainstorm along with her kittens. She raised her babies safely indoors until they were adopted through Houston Pets Alive! Originally, Tilly was spayed and ear-tipped with the plan to release her back outside - but fate had other plans. After some time outdoors, she began returning for food and attention. By early summer, she was looking thin and worn, so she was brought back inside for care and observation. To everyone's surprise, this little survivor blossomed into a loving, affectionate companion! Today, Tilly adores having her neck and ears scratched and will purr in anticipation of a good petting session. She is gentle, tidy with her litter box (as long as it's cleaned regularly), and gets along well with other cats. She can be a bit submissive with males but otherwise coexists peacefully with feline friends. Tilly has come so far - from a feral mom to a trusting, affectionate cat who now seeks out human companionship. She would thrive in a calm, patient home that allows her to continue growing in confidence and love.
