This handsome 8-year-old, 65-pound pup has a big heart, a sweet spirit, and is looking for a second chance at love. Pluto is affectionate, playful, and loves being free in a yard - he even loves going for a swim! He's a champion cuddler, a lover of treats and toys, and will be your most loyal companion. While Pluto has so many wonderful qualities, he's been through a lot, and that's shaped what he needs most in a home. The ideal home for Pluto: - Adults only (no kids under 13 recommended) - Is good with cats - Is ok with submissive female dogs - Experienced dog owner This sweet guy deserves to be the center of someone's universe. He'll thrive with an adopter who understands his past and is ready to give him the love and stability he craves. Pluto's Story: Pluto once lived happily in a home with a child and two other dogs-but when his family moved, they left him behind at a city shelter. Scared and heartbroken, Pluto shut down. Now safe in a very temporary foster home in upstate New York, Pluto is blossoming again. He's neutered, fully vetted, microchipped. Transportation will be provided to any Northeast State!
