When her owner there could no longer care for her, Nena suddenly found herself without anyone. But thanks to a compassionate family connection - a relative here who's part of our shelter's extended family - she got her ticket to a brighter future. Now safe at Citrus County Animal Services, Nena is ready to begin the next chapter of her story - one filled with cozy naps, gentle affection, and the comfort of a home to finally call her own. She's learning about the joys of indoor living and has the sweetest heart just waiting to love someone again. Her sister has already found a wonderful home - now it's Nena's turn.
