About Moose

Moose is a sweet and smart boy, around 8 years old. Moose and his 'brother' Bear, also on this website, have been shuffled around since their original owner passed away. Ideally, the boys could stay together, but if you have space in your home and heart for just one, that's okay, too. Moose and Bear need a permanent and loving home because our other dog attacks them and will not accept them. I'm sad that they have now become outside-only dogs; they deserve much better. They have been with us about 7 weeks. Moose is mellow, confident, and loves to be with people. He has a goofy and fun side, too: he carries his food dish to a new location after he eats and has a funny little frolic/gallop when he's excited! He absolutely loves a walk and walks extremely well on leash, but hip dysplasia keeps him from long walks. He knows a lot of commands and is obedient. He is crate trained if the crate is large enough for him to turn around, but it's unknown for how long he can stay in. He is good with smaller female dogs and submissive to other males. Moose is microchipped. Moose and Bear are wonderful companions to hang around with for company and will follow you from room to room. Please consider one or both of these boys to join your family soon!
