About Rozzy

Rozzy is a playful, energetic, and affectionate dog who loves cuddling, full body pets, and learning new things. She follows commands well in a controlled environment and she doesn't resource guard, beg for food or try to escape from her home. She is not destructive, aggressive, or fearful, but she does have some issues with anxiety, reactivity, and attention seeking behaviors. The good news is that she's smart and highly motivated by treats, praise, and affection, so she is very receptive to training, as long as her primary caregiver is dedicated to putting in the work and sticking to it. So, while she can be difficult, you will get back what you put in with her. She needs work with the following: Leash, fence and car reactivity; touch sensitive towards being picked up, held, moved, bathed, and groomed; barks, whines, stares, follows you around and repeatedly brings you toys for attention. She will do best with someone who can give her a lot of attention, and has the patience and experience to provide her with the structure and discipline she needs to thrive.
