Courtesy Posting: HELP!!! X URGENT- Riverside County Shelter, San Jacinto location, So Cal - ID #A1882643 'ENZO'- YOUNGER, PEOPLE AND DOG FRIENDLY, VERY HANDSOME BOY LISTED AS A 39 LB CHOW/SHEPHERD MIX. WILL BE AT GREAT RISK IN HIGH KILL SHELTER AS OF 10/19. AVAILABLE TO ADOPT, BUT SHELTER IS OVERFULL and EUTHANIZING YOUNG ADOPTABLE DOGS AND GIVES LITTLE TIME. WE ARE THEREFORE ALSO DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE TO SAVE HIS LIFE. RESCUES NEED FOSTERS TO HELP! WE ARE LOOKING FOR EITHER A LOVING & RESPONSIBLE HOME, OR A FOSTER AND RESCUE FOR ENZO. He was found as a stray, chipped to an owner who is not local, but sadly has never replied. Enzo is said to be 3 years young and weighs only 39 lbs so he is perfectly sized. When found, he was roaming with roaming with another who dog who does not look related. He is also now kenneled with several other unrelated dogs he gets along with, so he is believed to do well with dogs. Enzo comes off his long stray/chip hold on 10/19, and he is expected to become very urgent in this very full shelter. He has had no negative behavior or medical notes. Unfortunately, because the shelter is so full, though, he may have little time to be adopted or rescued before he is add to the euthanasia list without warning. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting Enzo, please contact the shelter immediately by calling (951) 358-7387 and reference his applicable ID and also use his listing link to express interest: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/RVSD3/A1882643 to express interest. If you are interested just to foster, or foster to adopt, or if you need further help, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network asap as we are trying to find fosters we can then refer to a rescue group to save him in time. There is also a chance he could be fostered through the shelter if you are local, or we could pair you with a rescue group to assist with this as a foster if you are further away (but not too far from a willing rescue). If you are a rescue group and interested in pulling this handsome guy, please email the shelter right away at: [email protected] and call (951) 358-7302.
