Zeke was taken to a high kill rural mountain Shelter when his owner was sent to Prison...so technically, I guess they both went to Prison, only Zeke is innocent. A rescue volunteer heard of his plight and went to get him out, before things went from bad to the worst for Zeke. He's proved himself to be a wonderful dog. Lots of energy, typical for his age. He loves people and is getting along very well with the other dogs in the foster home. Zeke's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Zeke is great with all the dogs, big and small as well as the cat. He's very responsive to instructions. He's playful with the other dogs, especially with the dogs closer to his age. He loves water but not a big retriever of sticks. He likes toys when you play with him and loses interest when other dogs take over the toy (he is not possessive). He loves to run through the fields. He loves to ride in the car. Zeke is housebroken. His signal to go out is coming to you. When inside, he wants to be close to me. He will sit on your lap, if allowed. He has actually fallen asleep as I was petting him as he was half on my lap with his feet on the floor. Zeke can be in the crate. Rather than crate him at night, he sleeps on a bed which is on the floor close to my bed. Overall, Zeke is a playful, loving dog.
