Cooper is a good boy. I adopted him from a shelter in July 2024, when they think he was about 1 year old. He had never had a family before, and he has come a long way. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves to cuddle on the couch, and he sleeps in my bed. Cooper is great with kids and really loves them. I have 7 nieces and nephews ages 13 to 2, and he is good with them. If he has not had enough exercise, though, he can be too excited and knock them over. All that being said, Cooper is high energy. I am not home enough, and my mom, who used to help with other dogs, can no longer drive, so cannot help me. I also broke my foot months ago, and it is still not right, so I need to get an MRI to determine next steps. It is clear that while I love Cooper, he really needs a home that is more active. If he does not have enough exercise or stimulation he will chew anything and everything.
