This delicate little 'Flower' came to us on September 27th after she was 'found' running loose down Alameda. With no microchip or identification she was placed on a 'stray' hold without anyone ever coming to claim her. Since joining us, Flower has been having a tough time acclimating to the shelter environment. Not only has she lost weight, but limping prompted X-rays that revealed a fracture to her radius. She has been out with volunteers and in playgroup and has been described as : 'Play Styles: GD (Gentle & Dainty)Sociability Category: T (Tolerant)Descriptors: Mingled, PLF (Playful), LE (Low energy), APPRC (Appropriate Corrections). Please save this delicate little Flower with the prettiest eyes!! She must exit the shelter Thursday October 23rd by 4pm. Hurry before it's too late! Flower's stats: 1 year old, Female, 51 pounds. Stray intake 09/27, must exit EOD 10/23!! Flower at NC is on Orange /Major Medical Alert! Medical notes: 1. with swelling and limping front left leg 2. Fracture of the Left radius appreciated on xrays (chronic - the amount of calus formation suggests injury occured prior to impound but has yet to fully resolve) 3. Marked FAS despite medication 4. Reported weight loss since impound despite extra feedings 5. Due to her FAS in the shelter, concerns Flower's facture will not stabilize/ heal appropriately in the shelter setting. A2232651, Flower must be rescued/adopted before 4:00pm 10/23/2025 or sooner if their medical condition declines.
