About Sachi

Sachi is pending adoption. (If you have reached out to me about Sachi and want an update, please contact me.) Sachi was born in Germany into a champion show line family. He was released to me by a man who imported him and planned to show him in the US but lost interest in him due to a divorce and relocating. I have a degree in behavioral science and study dog training. I use reinforcement methods. I have worked with standard poodles, and he is the smartest dog I have ever trained. He will ONLY be released to someone who has had DIRECT ACTUAL personal experience with German shepherds who has the time to devote to his continued training. He is young and still very much a puppy. This is a GREAT dog. He's a total sweetheart. He likes teenagers and adults I have introduced him to. He is very ball driven. He also does figure 8's between my legs. He knows basic commands in English and in German. I put that he is not good with kids because I don't know. He is very large and powerful, so I will not place him in a home with young kids. He comes with lots of supplies-- XXL crate, toys, bed, food, etc. and vet records. I will expect several references. I have videos and lots of pictures. Sachi would love a job. He could be with an owner who would consider training him as a service or agility dog. He loves to walk on walls and jump high into the air to catch a ball.
