URGENT: PLEASE HELP SAVE BUCK! This sweet boy, Buck (now named Bronze, ID #A545536), has known nothing but love from his owner. But life has been unbelievably cruel. His mom has been fighting so hard to keep him safe after losing her home, she lived in her car with her dogs just so they could stay together. When her car broke down beyond repair, she scraped everything she could to try and get another, but with no safe place left for Buck while she worked and the heat rising dangerously, her worst nightmare came true. She had no choice but to let him go to the shelter. Now Buck sits behind shelter walls, confused and heartbroken. His mom is terrified he won't make it out alive. She has tried for over a year to hold on, but luck has run out, and now Buck's only chance is YOU. Please, share his story far and wide so he doesn't become another statistic. About Buck: ID: A545536. 1.5 years old. 57 lbs (Shelter has the age wrong). Male Labrador Retriever mix, brown & white. Crate trained and potty trained. Total love bug- happy, silly, affectionate, loves belly rubs and enjoys exploring the yard. Been at the shelter since Aug 19, 2025. Adoption available Aug 26, 2025.
