About Doc

Doc is a dainty sweetheart. He's easy handle on leash and enjoys a calm stroll at your side. Out in the play yard, he's on the lower energy side. Doc strikes a great balance between independent and affectionate. He's happy to do his own thing but always appreciates attention and gentle pets. When you stop, he'll politely tap your hand with his paw to ask for more - then he's perfectly content to wander off again. He sits on command (when you have his attention) and takes treats gently. Doc came to us as a stray alongside another dog. They both had a microchip, but sadly, we learned their owner had passed away. A family member was supposed to care for them, but there were differing opinions on which family member actually ended up being responsible for them. No one stepped forward to reclaim them. Now Doc's looking for a new start with someone who will give him the love and stability he deserves.
