After surgery, healing, and rehabilitation, she's now ready for a foster-to-adopt home. However, Salem's journey has left its mark, and she requires a special kind of love and care. But Salem is not just your ordinary beautiful doodle. About Salem: High energy, but also very scared and anxious, she is not a dog to be going out in public, dog parks or social events. Doesn't enjoy public surroundings, freezing and freaking out after short walks Needs a secure, escape-proof yard, as she attempts to jump fences Requires an experienced pet owner with patience and understanding Dog-friendly and gets along well with other dogs Due to her size and jumping tendency, we prefer homes with no small children Unknown compatibility with cats Weighs approximately 65 pounds or more and is about 2-3 years old. Salem has been fortunate to be in a wonderful home boarding situation, where her caregivers have been working tirelessly with her. She's made great progress, but she will continue to need training and patience to help her overcome her challenges. %8FThe PAWFECT Home for Salem: We're looking for someone who can provide a stable, loving environment and commit to helping Salem continue her growth and development.
