About Balto

This post goes out with a prayer for Balto. Sometimes life just isn't fair - and poor Balto knows that all too well. He was surrendered to the shelter because his landlord didn't allow dogs. At only 10 months old, this sweet boy was already on the euthanasia list until an older gentleman stepped up and saved him. But now, Balto's heart is breaking all over again. His hero is returning him - not because Balto did anything wrong - but because his puppy energy is just too much for him to handle. Balto can't seem to catch a break. He's loving, playful, and full of life - just a young pup who wants to chase a ball, go on walks, and snuggle up after a good play session. He's housebroken, great with other dogs, and would thrive with an active person, a fun-loving family, or a playful dog buddy. We are desperately trying to keep him out of the shelter, where dogs are being euthanized every day. Please - if you can foster or adopt, you could truly save his life. Balto deserves his forever person - someone who sees that his energy is not a burden, but a beautiful sign of life and joy. Time is running out. He will be homeless in just a few days.
