Her name is Stella. She is a miniature chocolate poodle. Her birthday is 6-1-24. We adopted her from a friend who was in the middle of a divorce and couldn't keep her. We have had her since July 2025. She gets along with dogs and cats, but, we have dogs smaller than her (yorkies) and she is dominant. My other dogs are submissive, and that is why we have run into this issue. We thought it was just going to be an adjustment period, but unfortunately, it's not. She needs to be in a home with larger dogs, or other dogs who are dominant so she can learn her place. She is absolutely NOT aggressive towards people whatsoever. Previous owner had children and had zero issues. She would even do well as an only dog because she was an only dog before she came to us. She is potty trained, crate trained, and doggy door trained. She loves to play with other dogs, but needs one who will teach her her place. She absolutely loves car rides and riding in general. She even travels in a crossbody style dog bag and will stay in it willingly. She is used to having a large fenced in yard to play in and having access to outside and I would like for her to have that at her new home. She loves to sleep in bed with you. And she loves attention. She is an overall great dog, but our dogs are getting bullied. She would make a great one on one dog or make a great addition to a large dog family if you were wanting to add something smaller. She also does great at groomer and does well for at home grooming.
