About Forrest Nubs

Hi friends! I'm Forrest Nubbs, a 14-month-old Maltipoo (that's Maltese meets Poodle for those keeping track of my fabulous heritage). I weigh in at a perfect 12 pounds of fluff and personality! Now, you might notice I'm a little different-I came into this world without back paws, but honestly I didn't get the memo that I'm supposed to care! I zoom around like any other pup as long as the ground/floor is a smooth surface. My foster fam puts special protective stuff on my nubs to keep them tough, and so far I'm doing amazing! Here's the thing though-I can't do leash walks on rough pavement, so I NEED a yard to call my own. That's where I do my business and my zoomies, and trust me, I've got zoomies for days! I'm still very much a puppy, which means I love to CHEW. Antlers? Yes please! Shoes? Don't mind if I do! Reading glasses? Chef's kiss! (Sorry not sorry to my foster parents) Speaking of things I love-I absolutely ADORE wrestling and playing with my foster dog sibling! In fact, I need a playful fur brother or sister in my forever home to keep helping me learn and grow. We Maltipoos are social creatures, and I'm no exception! I'm great with all people (including older kids) and all dogs. I'm a mild-mannered boy who will settle right next to you for movie night�'�| after I explore every inch of the couch first, obviously. A few things my humans need to know: I can't jump up or down from furniture safely, so I'll need gentle help getting on and off the couch. And for safety reasons, I shouldn't sleep in the big bed where I might tumble off in the middle of the night. I'm free-fed kibble throughout the day (I'm very sophisticated like that), and I'm working on my house manners! I'll need a consistent potty schedule and might need a little refresher when I first move to my new home. So, am I your perfect match? Do you have a yard AND a playful pup already?
