About Lalo needs out ASAP

He's been here for 230 days!!!!! Please be his hero!!! He doesn't deserve this in his golden years!!! Video: https://fb.watch/CNsFas7xh3/?mibextid=wwXIfr&fs=e 10 year old Magnificent LALO needs a FOSTER (Or Rescue) to help him land softly in his golden years!!! 90 lb, 10 year old Lalo has endured 230+ days of living in a small cell, sleeping on a concrete floor. Shelter life can be touch on physically vulnerable seniors and Lalo is no exception. His hips are noticeably weak. But he might just be the most affectionate man you'll meet at North Central. And all he is looking for is a soft place to lay his head !!! Lalo was surrendered by his family back in March for landlord reasons. He lived with kids ages 10 & 12 and he came in with a female shepherd (since rescued). Both dogs came in with a skin condition & underweight but Lalo has put on some pounds and has now has a gorgeous white mane. After 7months, Lalo got an afternoon out! He jumped right in the car after a try or two (considering those hips) He seamlessly fit into a home environment, immediately taking to the dog bed, lying down and chewing on a bone. He is a connected man, seeking affection often but also content to just sleep close by or chew on a kong when his people needed to do their thing. It was a calm day out, without any stress or pressure. Beautiful to see him finally relax, sigh heavily and fall asleep knowing that he was (temporarily) safe. Lalo facts: - Came in with a female dog, surrender them due to landlord - LIVED WITH KIDS ages 10 & 12 - Initially pushy with softer dogs, he is now more social & playful - Met a small dog, was only interested in sniffing - Knows sit & shake, loves brushings - Can gaze into your eyes for hours - No cats please LALO desperately needs a hero so he can exit the shelter ASAP!
