About Beau

We have been fostering Beau since my dad ended up in the hospital and rehab. Unfortunately, he passed and we have to find a home for him. We already have 3 dogs and he does not have the room he needs to run here. Beau was scared to come inside when we brought him here, he preferred to stay outside. However, he is now comfortable and prefers to play outside all day and come in at night. He has been fine with our other dogs. We do not have cats, but he did become go after a cat the first time he met one. Not sure if that is something that can improve or not. Beau is very friendly, but he needs to be in a place he can run free. He can jump our fence, and he does, but he won't leave the immediate neighborhood and he always comes back to the door to come inside. Beau does not like storms and gets very nervous. The one time he got aggressive, he was hiding behind a trash can during a storm and we tried to pull him out. He did not hurt anyone, but did growl and show his teeth. Beau has all of his shots and has been neutered. He would make a GREAT farm dog. He would make for a great protector against bears, dear, and other animals that disrupt farm life. I truly believe he will become someone's best friend for years to come. He just needs the right situation and a place to run!
