Molly was abandoned with her five puppies in rural Georgia. She flagged down a car with one puppy by her side, and then led the concerned driver up a hill, through a cemetery to her other 4 puppies. This heroic mom was dehydrated and hungry and trying to protect her puppies who were just weaning. The puppies were taken in by a no-kill Humane Society, and Molly is currently being fostered. She's spayed, treated for fleas and worms, and is up to date on her vaccines. She has recovered from her ordeal and is back to being a loving, 1 year old Bassett Hound with beagle ears. Molly is now crate-trained, and came house trained. She loves to play with other dogs and people (including kids), loves to cuddle, loves belly rubs, and because she is still a puppy, loves to chew on her toy chews. She sleeps in her crate all night, enjoys walks, sniffing (cuz, she is a hound!), and keeping people company. The car/truck is her happy place and she loves to accompany us on errands.
