About Peanut

Hi there! ��%90%BE My name is Peanut, and I'm a 5-pound ball of fluffy Maltese perfection looking for my forever person! I'm a year and a half old, and sadly I spent my first year in a kennel and then ended up in a local shelter. But I am in a GREAT foster home and I'm SO ready to make up for lost time with all the love and cuddles I've been saving up. Foster Mom says I'm the perfect lap buddy who will literally sleep on you while you work (you're welcome for the company!), and I'm incredibly loyal and affectionate with all people. Here's a little bit about me - I LOVE going for walks three times a day (and do great with a firm fitting harness), I ADORE car rides - ready for any adventure with you, and I get the zoomies about twice a day because life is exciting! ��s���լ I'm super food-motivated (okay, I'm obsessed with treats and will do ANYTHING for them), so training me will be a breeze. Fair warning though: I will try to steal your snacks and drinks because if you're having it, I want it too! ���� I sleep like a champ-sometimes nine hours straight through the night, cuddled up in bed with my person. I'm good with other dogs even though I sometimes think I'm tougher than I am (it's the little dog complex ����), and I have one quirky thing: I'm not a fan of people in hats. �٤� Also I do bark when I'm left alone and at thunder (gotta let it know who's boss!), so my forever home is ideally a house but definitely not an apartment or condo.
