Buckeye Bull Terrier Rescue is looking for the right Forever Adoptive Home for Mia! Let's get this sweet girl Adopted! Mia is a little over 2 years old, Has been fixed, UTD on shots, Heartworm negative and recently had a dental and been fully vetted. She is a sweet, energetic young bull terrier but has some anxiety and overstimulation issues she needs help working through. She has a facial deformity that has been diagnosed as a birth defect and veterinarian's through exams and xrays believe there is no cause for alarm and she has no visual impairments. Her new home will need to be patient as she excites easily and is overstimulated with the transition from country living to city life. I do not believe she had much early socialization. She will need someone willing to put in the time and patience with training and helping her relax in new situations. She will need work on the leash (she is a puller) and in public situations. She appears to be Dog friendly but gets very excited when see's other dogs and want to visit all the dogs. She would do best in home with older children or no children as she excites easily and wants to play. Crate Trained and currently living with a Foster who has been helping her get socialized, vetted and trained. Unknown how she is with cats snd smsll animals.
