She takes her job of protecting the yard very seriously (especially from suspicious leaves). When she's off duty, you'll find her sunbathing, exploring, or showing off her favorite cozy sweater. Kida's first few years of life were tough, and that's left her a little cautious when meeting new people. She may be timid at first, but give her one gentle head rub and she'll be your best friend for life. She's healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. Kida loves a soft blanket, a warm lap, and a pup cup after a nice bath - true queen behavior. She's lived with cats before and it was ok. She would prefer a home where she can be the star of the show (and get all the attention she deserves). She's looking for a patient, loving family who can give her one-on-one attention and gentle reminders for her potty breaks. With kindness, time, and love, she'll reward you with loyalty, laughter, and endless cuddles. We want Kida to go to a home that has a securely fenced backyard��%BD'��%BD|no wrought iron unless it is screened, no electronic fencing. She also needs someone who will be able to spend time with her. She was not treated well the first few years of her life, and she deserves the very best that life has to offer. Kida will get along with other dogs, but, like most Jack Russells, she may not do well with cats.
